Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala- Kibale National Park
You will depart Kampala after breakfast and head westwards to Fort Portal town. The drive will take about 4 -5 hours. You will have lunch in Fort Portal and continue to Kibale where you will go for either a community walk or visit the beautiful Crater lakes region for a spectacular scenic view of the beautiful landscapes. Dinner and overnight will be at your reserved lodge.

Day 3: Chimp tracking and nature walk in Kibale Forest
After breakfast you will report at the Kanyanchu Tourist Centre at 08.00 am for a briefing on the rules before tracking the chimpanzees. The trek for the chimps takes 2-3 hours and it will provide you with the opportunity to also see a variety of other primates and animals as well as birds, and various species of butterflies and insects.
You will return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon go for a nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland to see a variety of birds and monkey species. You will have dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Travel to Queen Elizabeth
After your morning breakfast, you will travel to Fort Portal and visit Nyakasura falls before heading to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon game drive. You will after the game drive retire to the hotel of your booking for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Gamedrive and Boat launch on Kazinga Channel
We set off for an early morning game drive (about 6.30am), an awesome experience to spot the animals in natural habitats to include elephants, solitary cape buffaloes, hyenas, lions, leopards, antelopes, warthogs and beautiful birds. This park has spectacular sceneries including Crater Lakes and rolling savannah plains overlooking the snowcapped Rwenzori Mountain ranges.
You will return to your lodge for breakfast and relax till lunch. In the afternoon you will take a relaxing 2 hour boat cruise on Kazinga channel. This is a huge opportunity to spot more animals as they come to cool off down the stream. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos.
This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species. Dinner and overnight will be as the previous day.
Day 6: Game Drive in the Ishasha sector
You will wake up early for a morning game drive in the Ishasha sector of the Queen Elizabeth National Park to see Lions, Elephants, Topis, Leopards, Bush bucks, Cape Buffaloes, Defassa Waterbucks, Giant Forest Hogs, Uganda Kobs, among others.
You will have lunch at a hotel in this part of the park and set off for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Enroute you will see a great country-side, bamboo forest and have great views of the scenic landscape characteristic of the western rift valley

Day 7: Bwindi Gorilla Tracking
We set off early in the morning for a 2-8 hour trek to encounter the Gorillas. Gorilla trekking is an enjoyable experience though demanding as we go through steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain drizzles before encountering any Gorilla closely. The thrill of your encounter will erase the difficulties of the potentially strenuous trek.
Upon the encounter you will spend a maximum of one hour with the Gorillas, taking photos and marveling at these elusive creatures feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. After trekking you will return to your lodge for lunch and some rest and if the time permits you will go for a community walk to explore the life styles of the people living around the park.

Day 8: Travel to Rwanda
We leave early in the morning and head for Parc Volcanos Nationale in Rwanda. You will enjoy spectacular scenery of rolling hills, deep valleys and water marshes along this route and have a stopover at Musanze to experience a community walk. You will end up in Ruhengeri town where you will have dinner and overnight at the hotel of your booking.

Day 9: Gorilla trekking in Parc des Volcanoes
You will have an early breakfast and report at the Park Headquarters for a briefing on the rules to be observed during Gorilla trekking. You will be allocated a Gorilla family to track and guides to lead you to the Gorillas. The tracking will take 2-5 hours. Once found, you will spend a maximum of one hour observing the gorillas in their natural setting. After the tracking you will return to the hotel for lunch and spend the rest of the day relaxing at your hotel.

Day 10: Kigali City Excursion and departure
You will have an early breakfast and set off for Kigali City. You will have lunch and later visit the Genocide memorial site, a sobering and yet touching museum dedicated to the nearly one million people who lost their lives in the conflict and is now an educational site with museums and exhibits dedicated to preventing genocides around the world. You will after the excursion transfer to the Airport for your outbound departure flight.
