Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
On the arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will meet our representative who will transfer you to your respective hotel in Entebbe and give you a thorough briefing about your tour and Uganda in general, early arrivals will have a city tour around Kampala.

Day 2: Transfer to Sipi Falls
The Uganda Rwanda adventure safari starts today. After breakfast, an early morning drive to Sipi Falls with a stopover in Jinja to see the source of the River Nile where we get to the speed boat and continue to Samuka Island for relaxation and lunch.
If you are a bird lover, this is a must place for you. Return later at 4:30P.M. And drive to Sipi Falls in Mbale.
Day 3: Drive to Kidepo Valley National Park
You will continue the journey to Kidepo Valley National Park on a rough road. The journey to Kidepo from Kitgum will take 4 – 7 hours depending on the weather conditions which determine the state of the roads in this part of the country.
In the afternoon you will go to visit the cultural villages of Masai like Karamajongs. You will spend the night at your lodge of booking.

Day 4: Game drive and Safari walk in Kidepo
You will wake up early for a game drive in the park to catch up with the early predators that will be returning to their habitats after a night hunt.
In Kidepo you will find zebras, giraffes, elephants, lions, leopards and this is the only place in Uganda where you can find the cheetah and ostrich.
You’ll return to the lodge for a late breakfast, have a rest and go off in the mid afternoon for a nature walk.
You will return to your lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
We set off from Jinja at 7a.m. after our morning breakfast and drive to Murchison Falls National Park.
Continue to Masindi town for lunch at the Masindi Hotel and continue to the park.
Murchison Falls National Park is the largest in Uganda at 3,840 square kilometres. Here is the awe inspiring Murchison Falls where the River Nile hurls itself in convulsions through a narrow crevice and then plunges 40 metres in one breathtaking leap.
The park has a variety of vegetation ranging from riparian forests and swamplands to broad savannah, and provides visitors the opportunity of seeing large concentrations of wildlife including lion, leopard, civet, hyena, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, a host of smaller game, small primates and many bird species, including the rare shoebill stork. The park is especially famous for crocodiles and hippos.
Day 6: Game drive and Boat Cruise on the Nile
You will wake up very early and set off at 6.30am for a sunrise game drive in the Nyamsika plateau to see the Cape buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, Uganda kob, hartebeest and waterbucks.
You may also spot the Oribi, bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, shy sitatunga, bush duiker, warthog and bush pig plus large carnivores including lions, leopards and spotted hyenas.
Chimpanzees and olive baboons head the list of six species of primates found in the park. Crocodiles and hippos will be seen along the banks of the Nile.
Some of the more common birds that can be seen include goliath heron, Egyptian geese, pelican, bee-eaters, kingfishers, hornbill, cormorant, saddle-bill stork and the rare shoebill stork.
You will return to your lodge for a late breakfast and some relaxation before you set off in the afternoon for a boat cruise on the placid Victoria Nile, upstream, to the base of the falls.
En route you will see Hippos, Crocodiles, Water buck and a wide variety of birds like the unusual Shoebill stork.
The boat stops just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron” for pictures to be taken of the photogenic and majestic Murchison Falls
Day 7: Early Morning Boat Cruise on the Nile in search for the shoebill
You will wake up very early and go for an early boat cruise in search for the shoebill on the Nile River, Later in the afternoon drive to Ziwa Rhino tracking. You will track the rhinos in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for about 2 hours depending on where the rhinos are feeding from.
Dinner and overnight will be at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Day 8: Transfer to Kibale National Park via Fort Portal
Leave Murchison Falls National Park for Kibale Forest National Park via the Lake Albert escarpment, having a good view of the lake.
Stopover at Kolping Hotel in Hoima for lunch and after drive across the interesting river Nkusi (flowing from the southern end of Lake Albert, through the villages of Kagadi, joining Victoria Nile).
Both rivers join Lake Kyoga and flow through the Murchison Falls continue to Lake Albert and north to the Mediterranean Sea.
This is a great day as the drive takes you through the community and forests with chances of seeing Vervet monkeys, Black and white Colobus monkeys jumping up in the trees as you advance into the Kyenjonjo on a rocky road.
Day 9: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park & Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary- Transfer to Queen Elizabeth
Assemble at Kanyankyu River camp at 08:00 hours to go for the most popular activity in this park which is Chimpanzee tracking.
Chimpanzees are man’s closest cousins though they are one of the most threatened primate species.
More primates like black and white colobus monkeys, L’Hoest monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed monkeys, bush babies, pottos and many bird species like the yellow spotted nicator, rumped tinker bird, little greenbul, green breasted pitta, the crowned eagle, black bee-eater and mammals like elephants can be seen in this walk.
In the afternoon we visit a nearby forest swamp that is excellent for viewing primates and other forest animals.
At the eastern edge of Kibale Forest is Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary which is maintained by the local community.
You will expect birds like the great blue turaco, blue monkeys, baboons, otters, mongoose, bushbucks, and bush pigs and among others.
Later you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth. Retire for dinner and overnight at your lodge of booking.
Day 10: Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will set off early (about 6.30am) for a morning game drive, an awesome experience to spot the animals in natural habitats.
Expect to see the famous; Elephant, Buffalos, Lions, Bush bucks, Kobs, Giant forest hog, Hyenas leopards, antelopes, and Waterbucks as well as birds.
You will return for breakfast and relax till lunch. In the afternoon we will go for a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel. This gives you the opportunity to view wildlife up close: hippo’s huff and spray at very close range from the boat, buffalo linger in the shallows.
The shores of the channel are also home to an array of birds including pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle billed stork and many others.
Day 11: Transfer to Ishasha Sector, Full Day Game drive
You will set off early (about 6.30am) to Ishasha sector a remote and beautiful extension of Queen Elizabeth National Park that is host to a large variety and volume of wildlife.
It is a fabulous site to see the lions draped from the trees and nowhere in Africa do you stand a better chance of seeing this than in the large low limbed fig tree of Ishasha.
You will have a full day game drive in search for the Tree climbing lions and other animal and bird species. Retire for dinner and overnight at your lodge of booking.
Day 12: Transfer to Bwindi, Batwa Cultural Experience
You will have an early breakfast and transfer to Bwindi.
In the afternoon you will go for a community walk among the Batwa people who used to live in the Bwindi forest before it was gazetted as a National Park and learn about their life and culture as a forest people.
You will have dinner and overnight at your previous lodge.
Day 13: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, proceed for the morning briefing before enjoying the highlight of the trip – Gorilla trekking, which may last the entire day.
We trek through the rainforest and bamboo covered slopes, accompanied by a guide and trackers, in search of a mountain gorilla family.
The walking can sometimes be tough and long, but when you catch a glimpse of the magnificent silverback, any discomforts will be quickly forgotten.
When sighted, visitors will be guided to within 6 metres from the gorillas, sit around them for a whole hour while gazing into their big round eyes.
Gorilla trekking is unpredictable. It’s difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike. The gorilla excursion can take from 2 up to 8 hours.
Expect to walk along distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. A good physical condition is recommended.
For conservation purposes, time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. A ranger will brief you on how to behave with the gorillas. You will later transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.
Day 14: Canoe trekking on Lake Bunyonyi -Uganda
After breakfast, set out for a 5- hour canoe trek as well as bird watching on the beautiful lake bunyonyi traversing to the Gorgeos Kyabahinga Peninsula.
Here you will be gladly welcomed with songs plus dances by the resident school children. You will enjoy with the locals at least a cup of “Obushera”which is a local brew yes will ascend the Kyabahinga slops having a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the birdlife and the verdant terrain.
The view is very break taking! The guide will certainly brief you about the history of the area. Among the bird species you will see the dusky Tutle dove, the handsome francolin and alpine chat.
A renown herbalist who is a traditional healer-omugurusi Jeremiah, based on the hill top will disclose to you some of the secretes about the flora on the tropical highland.
Retire for dinner and overnight at your lodge of booking.
Day 15: Transfer to Parc De Volcanoes, Kisoro
After breakfast, you will transfer to Volcanoes National Park with a stopover at Kisoro Boarder town for a coffee tour, local market visit, Congo Boarder walk and drive to cross to Rwanda.
Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge of booking.
Day 16: Golden Monkey tracking and visit Iby Iwacu Cultural Village
An early morning go to park headquarters pick your guide and go to track Golden monkey and in the afternoon, go to visit the Iby Iwacu Cultural Village is found in Musanze district of Rwanda in Ruhengeri on the out skirts of the Volcanoes National Park.
The cultural village offers a community walk to all visitors coupled with many activities in the region Visitors are engaged and shown the different cultural behaviours of the Banyarwanda.
Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge of booking.
Day 17: Gorilla trek and transfer to L. Kivu
You will after the briefing be led by the ranger guides into the forest to search for the gorillas in the Volcano Virunga Hills and the verdant Valley.
Once traced you will spend a maximum of one hour observing the gorillas in their natural setting.
The tracking will be a 2-5 hour exercise after which you will return to your lodge for lunch and later transfer to Lake Kivu. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge of booking.
Day 18: Visit Congo Boarder and Drive to Nyungwe Forest Park
You will have an early breakfast, and drive to visit the Congo Boarder. Later, you will transfer to Nyungwe Forest Park for chimpanzee tracking.
Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge of booking.
Day 19: Chimp tracking and other primates
You will have an early breakfast after which you will be taken to the Park headquarters for a briefing on Chimpanzee tracking.
During the chimpanzee tracking you will also come across other primates such as Golden monkey, L’Hoest’s monkey, Angola colobus, Silver monkey, Hamlyn’s Monkey, Dent’s Mona Monkey, Red-tailed Monkey, Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, and Olive Baboon.
You will also see various types of birds in the verdant flora of this ancient forest after which you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 20: Travel to Kigali
You will have an early breakfast after which you will transfer to Kigali to visit the Butare Genocide museum, king’s palace, and overnight will be at your lodge of booking.
Day 21: City tour and travel to Akagera National Park
You will after breakfast for a brief Kigali City excursion to visit the Genocide memorial site, presidential palace, local market places and later transfer to the Akagera National Park. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge of booking.
Day 22: Full Day Game Drive in Akagera National Park and transfer to Kigali
You will have an early breakfast and set off for a full day game drive to catch up with the early risers plus large predators including lions and hyenas plus bushbuck, zebra, leopards, Elephants, giraffes, Buffaloes, cape elands, impalas, oribi and antelopes.
You will return for lunch at the Lodge and then in the afternoon drive back to Kigali to catch up with your flight.

BEST TIME TO GO
Gorilla Viewing: Gorilla trekking can take place at any time of year with April/May and November being wetter. However, be aware that rain occurs all year round. For general game viewing safaris, the best time to go is during the dry season (between June and September).
