African Gorilla , 7 Day Rwanda Uganda Double African Gorilla Tracking and Wildlife Tour

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On arrival at the airport your will be met by our safari guide who will drive you straight to the Volcanoes National Park. Time allowing you will go for a nature walk before retiring to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla tracking
You will, after an early breakfast, assemble at the Park headquarters for briefing at 8:30am about the rules on African Gorilla tracking. You will be allocated an African Gorilla family to track and guides to lead you to the Gorillas. The tracking experience will be a 2-5 hour exercise after which you will return to the lodge for lunch. You will later in the afternoon go for a nature walk before retiring to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Golden Monkey tracking/Visit to Dian Fossey memorial and transfer to Bwindi
You will have breakfast; you will either go for golden monkey tracking in Volcanoes National Park or hike to Karisoke Research Centre established by Dian Fossey, an American primatologist who dedicated all her life conserving the primates. You will after being taken around this remarkable centre. You will after cross over to Bwindi impenetrable Forest National Park in Uganda.
Day 4: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi National Park and transfer to Ishasha Sector
You will have an early breakfast and be driven to the Park Headquarters for a briefing at 7:30am on the rules of Gorilla tracking. After the briefing, you will set off for the Gorilla hunt in the thick jungle. The jungle is very lively with rich forest sounds. The trek ranges between 2 – 8 hours and you have one hour to stay with the Gorillas once sited. Later after lunch you will transfer to Ishasha sector the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National.
Ishasha, a remote and beautiful extension of Queen Elizabeth NP that is host to a large variety wildlife (this is a fabulous area in which to see the lions draped from the trees and nowhere in Africa do you stand a better chance of seeing this in the large low limbed fig tree of Ishasha). You will have dinner and overnight at your lodge of booking.
Day 5: Morning Game in Ishasha Sector and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Boat Cruise and Evening Game drive
After breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive in Ishasha sector. You will have a half day game drive in search for the tree climbing lions and other animal species. In the late afternoon, you will transfer to the Northern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have lunch and later go for the afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.
While on boat cruise, look out for crocodiles, hippos, buffalos, elephants and various bird species. Later in the evening, you will do an evening game drive. Expect to see the famous Big Five; Elephant, Buffalos, Lions, Bush bucks, Kobs, Giant forest hog, Hyenas leopards, antelopes, and Waterbucks as well as birds. You will have dinner and overnight at the lodge of your booking.
Day 6: Morning Game in Queen Elizabeth National Park and Transfer to Kibale National Park, Chimp tracking.
You will set off early (about 6.30am) for a morning game drive, an awesome experience to spot the animals in natural habitats. Expect to see the famous Big Five; Elephant, Buffalos, Lions, Bush bucks, Kobs, Giant forest hog, Hyenas leopards, antelopes, and Waterbucks as well as birds. You will return for breakfast and transfer to Kibale National Park. Upon arrival, you will have your lunch and report at the Kanyanchu Tourist Centre at 02.00 pm for a briefing before tracking the chimpanzees.
The forest is only accessible on foot and the walk will provide you with the opportunity to also see a variety of other primates and animals as well as birds, and a variety of butterflies, and other insects. Dinner and overnight will be at your reserved lodge. You will have dinner and overnight at the lodge of your booking.
Day 7: Drive to Kigali/ Kampala
After breakfast you will be driven to Kigali/ Kampala with stopovers enroute to enjoy the scenery of green covered landscapes, tea and banana plantations, big herds of unique long-horned cattle and to do some shopping for souvenir crafts before catching your international flight.
