Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Bukavu

Upon arrival at the airport you will be met by the Congo gorilla trekking safari private 3 Days Congo Gorilla Trekking Safari guide who will drive you to Bukavu town in Congo. During the journey you will make stopovers to view Rwanda’s beautiful rolling hills, the green carpets of tea plantations, and to appreciate the rural countryside. At the Congo –Rwanda boarder of Cyangugu you will make immigration clearances and head to Bukavu town arriving in the late afternoon. You will check in at the hotel of your booking for Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Congo Gorilla trekking in Kahuzi-Biega National Park

Gorilla Trekking Experience in Congo

You will have an early breakfast and drive for 2 hours to the Headquarters of Kahuzi-Biega National Park for a briefing on the dos and don’ts during the Congo Gorilla trekking. You will be allocated a Gorilla family to track and guides to lead you in finding them. Upon sighting the Gorillas you will be allowed to stay with them for one hour during which you will experience the awesome experience of watching these gentle giants feed, play and care for their young.

You will after the trek drive to the border and cross into Rwanda. You will spend the night in Kibuye town.

Day 3: Drive to Kigali

Kigali

You will have an early breakfast and set off for Kigali City in Rwanda with stopovers for sightseeing and to visit Genocide memorial sites. You will have lunch in Kigali and later transfer to the airport for your outbound departure flight.
