4-Day Uganda Gorillas & Golden Monkey Trekking From Kigali, Rwanda
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi National Park
You will be picked up from Kigali Airport or your hotel to start your 4-day Gorilla and Golden Monkey experience safari through Kigali and transferred to Bwindi National Park to start your 4-day Bwindi gorilla safari. You will cross over to Uganda via the Cyanika border. The journey will enable you to view the Kigezi hills, characterized by rolling hills and beautiful valleys. You will then proceed to Bwindi National Park for an overnight stay.
Drive time: 3/4 hours
Lodge: Rushaga Gorilla lodge or Gorilla Valley lodge
Meal plan: Lunch and dinner
Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi National Park and transfer to Mgahinga National Park.
After an early morning breakfast, you will leave the lodge with your packed lunch and head to the park for a briefing. You will then be briefed on the Do’s and Don’ts and be allocated the group to track with. Please note that tracking can be tiresome and strenuous, so you need to inform your guide about your level of fitness so that he can get you a closer gorilla group for trekking. You will then proceed to track with your guide, who will provide you with any information you may want to know. You will be allowed to do photography for a period not exceeding an hour. You will proceed back to the headquarters to get your gorilla tracking certificate. Then head back to the lodge for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Golden Monkey trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will head to Mgahinga National Park for Golden Monkey trekking. After the briefing from the park headquarters, you will then start the search for golden monkeys. The bamboo forests of Mgahinga provide a much-appreciated habitat for these endangered creatures. Golden Monkeys are beautiful to look at with their various colors, including long golden hair, orange mixed into it, along black limbs. This golden monkey walk will expose you to other attractions in the park before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Kigali to end your 4-day Gorilla and Golden Monkey trekking safari from Kigali.
After breakfast, our guide will transfer you back to Kigali for your international flight out or back to your hotel in Kigali, marking the end of your 4-day gorilla safari
