Sprawled on the edge of the stunning Volcanoes National Park in north-western Rwanda, haven to about a third of the World’s surviving Mountain gorillas in their natural habitats marked by high altitude cloud forests. This stylish accommodation facility shares a 1200-meter border with Volcanoes National Park with villas that are stone throw from the natural environment of Giant Apes of the jungle as well as Kinigi Park Headquarters, where guided gorilla treks within less than 10 minutes’ walk. Singita Kwitonda Lodge was constructed with local materials and the buildings were crafted with River stones, volcanic rock, oven-red clay bricks and hand-made ceramic tiles with the unique stills of surrounding local community members. The structures are connected to the cultures and landscapes of Rwanda, with incorporation with modern-day styles that come together in present-day, authentic and exceptional architectural designs that are sensitive to the context as well as relishing the chances of having incredible views.

Singita Kwitonda Lodge offers 8 classy suites that enjoy a natural backdrop provided by the mountain bamboo, forest trees, ferns and giant lobelias creating a perfect jungle experience while at the edge of the forest. The magical Stone walls stand tall over the Volcanic boulders and create the suspended architecture. Each of these suites is private with self-contained bedroom suites, hair dryer, an exclusive heated plunge pool, a luxurious wellness treatment area, huge timber-framed windows that offer magnificent sceneries as well as Volcano views as well as in and outdoor fireplace.

The One-bedroom Suites

There are seven one-bedroom suites, with capacity of accommodating two guests but when it comes to in-room amenities/facilities, expect indoor bathroom, in and outdoor showers, covered patios, mini-bar, dressing room, private heated plunge pool, a secluded living area, in and outdoor fireplaces, in-room massage treatment area and so much more.

Two-bedroom suites

The two-bedroom suite has a sleeping capacity of four guests and features two indistinguishable bedrooms with in-room massage spaces, indoor bathrooms, indoor and outdoor rain showers, dressing rooms. The suite itself encompasses a mini-bar, in-room safe, roomy living area, in and outdoor fireplaces, private heated plunge pool, covered terraces and so much more.

The private-use four-bedroom Villa

The private-use four-bedroom villa at Singita Kwitonda Lodge is called “Kataza House” and accommodates a total of 8 visitors, making it a wonderful base for your family Holiday or Company getaway. Here, there is a covered veranda, indoor rain showers and baths, massage treatment area, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, fully-equipped fitness center, living area, dining area, Cinema room, interactive kitchen to prepare all kinds of cuisines, private heated plunge pool, small wine cellar, to mention but a few.
