Detailed 11-Day Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. In the evening, your professional safari guide will brief you about the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Lake Manyara Biking Experience & Game Drive

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara for a guided biking adventure through the scenic landscapes surrounding the soda lake. Along the way, you may encounter zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, and diverse birdlife including flamingos.

Later, enjoy a traditional hot local lunch in Mto wa Mbu village, offering a taste of Tanzania’s cultural diversity. In the afternoon, proceed for a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos, baboons, and rich birdlife.

Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands en route to the legendary Serengeti National Park. Enjoy breathtaking views of endless plains dotted with acacia trees and kopjes.

Arrive in Serengeti for an afternoon game drive, searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards, and plains game before heading to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti – Great Migration

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive across the central Serengeti plains before continuing north toward the Mara River, following the Great Migration.

During the dry season (July–October), vast herds of wildebeest and zebras gather along the riverbanks, offering dramatic river-crossing spectacles with crocodiles lurking below.

Day 5: Northern Serengeti – Full Day Migration Experience

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in Serengeti before heading toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the crater rim and take in stunning views of the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Transfer to Tarangire Area

Later, ascend the crater and proceed to the Tarangire area for evening relaxation.

Day 8: Tarangire National Park & Flight to Kigali

Day 9: Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a Kigali city tour, visiting local markets, cultural sites, and the Gisozi Genocide Memorial, offering insight into Rwanda’s history and resilience.

After lunch, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda via the Chanika or Katuna border, enjoying scenic views of rolling hills and the Virunga Mountains.

Day 10: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After the trek, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation and an evening boat ride, exploring the lake’s beautiful islands.
