Detailed 10 Day Uganda & Tanzania Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda – Entebbe International Airport

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel for relaxation after your international flight. Depending on arrival time, you may enjoy optional leisure around Lake Victoria.

Day 2: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park & Batwa Community Visit

Enjoy an early morning scenic flight from Entebbe to Kihihi Airstrip, offering aerial views of Uganda’s countryside. Upon landing, meet your safari guide and transfer to your lodge near Bwindi.

In the afternoon, visit the Batwa Community, the indigenous forest people of Bwindi. Learn about their ancient hunter-gatherer lifestyle through storytelling, traditional dances, and cultural demonstrations.

Day 3: First Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi

After breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering the forest with experienced ranger guides in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek can last between 2–8 hours, depending on gorilla movement.

Spend a magical hour observing gorillas in their natural habitat  an emotional and life-changing wildlife experience. Return to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 4: Second Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Kigali

After the trek, drive through the stunning Kigezi Highlands into Rwanda, enjoying panoramic views of rolling hills before arriving in Kigali for overnight.

Day 5: Fly from Kigali to Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha

Day 6: Tarangire National Park – Afternoon Game Drive
