Detailed 14 Days Uganda Conservation Safari Itinerary

Day 01: Kampala/Entebbe to Kibale National Park – Arrival in Fort Portal

Your conservation journey begins with a scenic 4–5 hour drive to Kibale National Park, a region defined by crater lakes, rolling hills, and dense tropical forests. After breakfast, your guide leads you through lively towns, beautiful landscapes, and cultural centers as you approach Fort Portal. Upon arrival, lunch awaits at either Travellers Inn or Mountains of the Moon Hotel. Later, you explore the mythical Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru caves, learn about their cultural legends, and walk through the nearby crater lakes region. Day 02: Chimpanzee Tracking & Conservation – Kibale National Park

After lunch, you begin the scenic drive toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing terraced hills and highland communities. Dinner and overnight are at Bwindi Safari Lodge or Buhoma Safari Lodge.

 

Day 12: Mountain Gorilla Trekking & Conservation – Bwindi

After breakfast, you attend a briefing from park rangers and begin your Mountain Gorilla trekking adventure.
